Type: Backyard Home Gym (Residential Accessory Space)

Summary: This project was the conversion of a garden shed into a home gym. We used the same footprint and profile, but modified window fenestration as well as quality of material and climate and energy efficient techniques. There was also some thought on the owner’s part on ensuring secondary or conversion use of this space as children aged, and needs changed (movie room, office space, teenage hangout).

There is also connection to a newly designed backyard, complete with outdoor kitchen and exterior dining.
